Everbest has been in food industry for 25 years. Our products are deeply connected to the mother nature; hence, we always take initiatives in sustaining mother nature as environmental issue is our first concern.
We have collaborated with @Langur Project Penang since August and we are glad that we have successfully organized "The Long-tailed Neighbors Around Us!", a family day event on 3rd of October, with SOP implemented, mask on for 6 hours and remained social distancing between families.
The objective is to raise environmental awareness among Everbest employee and the younger generation to understand the importance of nature to our community. Mainly to nurture them to understand how important of environment towards the wildlife animals and how should we protect them.
Through the activities we have planned out, from sharing by head of LPP @Jo Leen Yap regarding the foundation of LPP and stories of the primates to circles of life-the impact if we lost one of the natural resources.
Our fellow little young generations had lots of fun during the coloring contest while the adults had a challenging time to finished up the crossword contest; As well as hands on to build a canopy together with parents, sing and dance LPP theme song "What's in the Tree" as a wrapped for the event.
Once again, we would like to thanks LPP for the efforts and opportunity given. We will continue to do our best to nurture and educate our employees and the young generation towards the environment issue.
