Ingredients

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (10 pieces)
  • 2 tbsp of Water
  • 100g of Chicken Bones

 

  • ¼ tsp Salt 
  • Black Pepper 
  • Yee Mee  
  • Vegetable 
  • 1 Onion, finely sliced 

Methods 

1. Add in water and chicken bones into a soup pot

2. Add in salt and black pepper 

3. Bring to boil on slow fire

4. When it is ready, separate the chicken bones from the chicken stock using a sieve 

5. It’s time to make prawn stock

6. Pop out 10 pieces of EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary) into 400ml of water into the soup pot

7. Add in a teaspoon of salt and black pepper 

 

8. Bring to boil on slow fire

9. When it is ready, separate EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the prawn stock using a sieve 

10. Place Yee Mee into a claypot

11. Add in vegetable and the cooked EB My Daun Prawn Paste 

12. Pour in the chicken and prawn stock

13. Sprinkle some spring onions (optional)

14. It is ready to be served

2. Merah My Daun Prawn Paste

Ingredients 

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (10 pieces)
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • Blended Garlic
  • 1 Onion, finely sliced
  • 1 Ginger, finely sliced
  • Blended Dried Chillies
  • Sliced Lemongrass
  • Tomato Paste
  • ½ tsp Brown Sugar 
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Coconut Milk
  • Chilli Sauce
  • Plum Sauce
  • 2 tbsp of Water
  • Spring Onions
Masak Merah My Daun Prawn Paste

Methods

1. Heat up the pan and add in the cooking oil

2. Sauté onions until they turn brown 

3. Add in blended garlic, onion and ginger

4. Add in a teaspoon of blended dried chillies and mix well

5. Add in sliced lemongrass

6. Add in tomato paste and a teaspoon of brown sugar and salt 

 

7. Add in 3 tablespoons of coconut milk

8. Add in a teaspoon of chilli sauce, plum sauce and water

9. Let it simmer for one minute

10. Pop out 10 EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary) 

11. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes

12. Add in spring onions

13. It is ready to be served

3. Stir-Fried Prawn Paste

Ingredients

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1pck)
  • 1 Onion, finely sliced 
  • Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil

 

  • 2 tbsp of Water
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • Fish Sauce 
  • Button Mushrooms 

Methods

1. Pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary)  onto a pan

2. Add in water 

3. Bring it to boil on slow fire

4. When it is ready, take out My Daun Prawn Paste from the water and place them on a plate

5. Place onions and chillies into a blender

 

 6. Heat up your pan and add in the cooking oil

7. Add in the blended onions and chillies

8. Cook for one minute and add in button mushrooms

9. Add in water, salt and fish sauce

4. Udang Masam Manis Pedas Resepi Mudah

Ingredients 

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1pck)
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, minced
  • Blended Dried Chillies
  • Tomato Sauce 
  • Oyster Sauce

 

  • 2 tbsp of Water
  • ¼ tsp of Salt
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 1 Onion, finely sliced
  • Sliced Tomatoes 
  • Spring Onions 
  • Sliced Capsicum

Methods 

1. Heat up the pan and add in the cooking oil

2. Sauté onions and add the garlic

3. Add in a teaspoon of blended dried chillies

4. Mix well

5. Add in two tablespoons of tomato sauce and chilli sauce, and one tablespoon of oyster sauce

6. Add water and stir well

7. Add in a pinch of salt and sugar 

 

8. Add in sliced capsicum and onion

9. Add in the mixture of water and cornflour to make the gravy thicker

10. Bring the gravy to boil

11. Pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary) into the gravy

12. Stir for 2 – 3 minutes

13. Add in sliced tomatoes and spring onion

5. Maggie with Prawn Paste and Egg

Maggie with Prawn Paste and Egg

Ingredients 

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1pck)
  • 1 1⁄2 cups (350 ml) of water
  • 70 g packets of Maggi noodle
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) of grated cheese
  • Ground pepper to taste

Methods 

1. Pour water into a soup pot

2. Bring the water to a boil in a soup pot

3. Once boiling, pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary) into the pot and cook for 1-2 mins

4. Add in a pack of instant noodles and seasoning and cook for 2-3 mins

5. Add egg into the pot with the cooked noodles (optional)

6. Keep stirring until the egg is completely cooked and scrambled into the noodles

7. Stir in cheese and it’s ready to serve!

 

6. Seaweed Soup

Ingredients 

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1pck)
  • ½ sheet of Chinese dried seaweed – cut into pieces
  • 1 MSG or organic stock cube
  • 5 cups of water
  • 1 block of silken tofu – diced
  • Marinade ingredients
  • 1 tsp of fried shallot or garlic oil
  • ¾ tbsp of light soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 to 3 dashes of pepper
Seaweed Soup

Methods

1. Pour water into a soup pot

2. Bring the water to a boil in a soup pot

3. Pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary) into the pot

4. Cover the lid and let it boil for 3-5 minutes 

5. Add seaweed just before turning off the flame

6. Garnish with chopped spring onions and/or coriander and serve hot

7. Sambal Udang

Ingredients

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1 pck)
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons tamarind pulp, mixed with 1/2 cup water and strained
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves, sliced thinly
  • 2 teaspoons salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoons sugar or to taste

Spice Paste

  • 10 dry red chillies, deseeded
  • 10 shallots, peeled
  • 30 g (1 oz.) belacan

Methods 

1. Using a mortar and pestle or a food processor, pound the spice paste. Set aside.

2. In a wok, heat the cooking oil. Stir in the spice paste until fragrant.

3. Pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray and cook for another 2-3 minutes, depending on their size.

4. Bring the water and tamarind juice to a fast boil. Combine the kaffir lime leaves, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Remove the dish from the oven and serve immediately.

8. Tomato Spaghetti with Prawn Paste in Tomato Sauce

Tomato Spaghetti with Prawn Paste in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients 

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1 pck)
  • 1tbs vegetable oil
  • 700g beef mince
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 400g tomato
  • 50g butter
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • Spaghetti

Methods 

1. Pour water into a soup pot

2. Bring the water to a boil in a soup pot

3. Once boiling, add in spaghetti 

4. Cover the lid and let it boil for 15 minutes 

5. When it is ready, drain the spaghetti using a sieve. 

6. Place the spaghetti on an empty plate  

7. Pour water into a soup pot

8. Bring the water to a boil in a soup pot

9. Pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray

10. Cover the lid and let it boil for 3-5 minutes  

 

11. When it is ready, separate the prawn paste from the water using a sieve

12. Place the prawn paste onto the spaghetti 

13. Heat up the frying pan and add oil to the pan

14. Once it gets hot, add salt, pepper and brown onions 

15. Cook for 3 minutes. Keep stirring

16. Add the onion for 1-2 minutes

17. Add the garlic and tomato paste  

18. Leave it to cook for 20 minutes. Stir it occasionally

19. When it is ready, pour it onto the spaghetti and prawn paste

9. Prawn Paste Curry

Ingredients 

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1 pck)
  • 2 tbsp curry paste 
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Coconut cream 
  • 400g chopped tomatoes 
  • Coriander leaves and stalks chopped (optional)

Methods 

1. In a medium saucepan, heat the oil. Cook for a few minutes until the onion and ginger have softened. 

2. Cook for another minute after adding the curry paste. Pour chopped tomatoes and coconut cream over the top. 

3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and leave to simmer for 5 minutes, thinning with a little boiling water if the mixture becomes too thick.

4. Pop-out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray (defrost not necessary) and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve with plain rice and a sprinkling of chopped coriander, if desired.

10. Steam Prawn Paste & Oyster Sauce

  • EB My Daun Prawn Paste (1 pck)
  • 1 egg tofu, sliced into 10 pieces
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

 

  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Methods 

1. Pop out EB My Daun Prawn Paste from the tray and steam for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.

2. Combine sugar, cornstarch, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and water in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly to make the sauce.

3. Heat 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Fry the garlic until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper and continue to cook until the sauce thickens. Pour the sauce over the prawn paste. Serve immediately!
