EB Group Annual Dinner 2025
EB Group expressed its sincere gratitude to all staff for their invaluable contributions during a grand celebration. Held on January 11, 2025, the EB Group Annual Dinner took place at the Chang Hua Kor Moral Uplifting Society in Bukit Mertajam, making it a memorable and successful evening.
The Chairman and Founder of EB Group, Mr. Ang Chin Hooi, officially opened the annual dinner with an inspiring speech, sharing his vision for the company’s future. He highlighted EB Group’s aspiration to become the No. 1 player in the frozen food category and announced the landmark agreement with the Kunshan government in China to build a super factory there, marking a significant milestone for EB in 2025.
“To achieve greater success, there is only one key: “FOCUS,” Mr Ang said, presenting a short video about Robert Kuok’s success story. Mr Ang emphasized that success comes when everyone—from top management to primary staff—works together towards the same goals.
Last year, EB Group achieved a significant milestone by launching the EB Kranch sub-brand within just six months of conceptualisation. Focused on the growing demand in the air fryer market, EB Kranch introduced a specially crafted product range tailored for air frying.
CEO Ms. Chris Ooi commended the team’s dedication, saying, “I am truly amazed by how we overcame challenges and successfully launched EB Kranch in such a short time.”
Ms. Chris Ooi also announced EB Group’s market entry into Hong Kong, emphasizing the company’s commitment to growth and leadership in the industry.
“We see ourselves as market leaders and are committed to expanding our success in Hong Kong and beyond,” she stated.
She further highlighted the implementation of a Distributor Management System (DMS) to enhance efficiency and streamline processes. “Moving forward, the DMS system will improve document management, ensure better organization, and support the company’s growth,” Chris added.
In conjunction with the celebration of Chinese New Year, the company also invited a face-changing performer to entertain staff, adding a touch of cultural charm to the festivities.
A lively mini-game session tested participants’ quick thinking, bringing laughter and excitement, while winners received special prizes.
The evening continued with a staff appreciation ceremony, honouring staff with Long Service Awards for their dedication spanning over a decade, with the longest-serving member boasting 10 years of service.
In a fun and creative twist, our staff embraced the “International Cultural Night” theme by wearing vibrant outfits that perfectly captured the spirit of the evening. The Best Dressed Awards were presented to those with the most standout ensembles, adding an extra layer of excitement to the celebration.
The annual dinner’s lucky draw session was another major highlight of the evening, with EB Group generously giving away over 400 prizes to its staff, adding even more excitement to the celebration.
